Molecular Diagnostic Probes
The SGTC Biomath group collaborates with Dr Pourmands BioDetection group. We design probes for sensitive and specific detection of pathogens.
Three core projects contribute:
- Information Content Profiles for Statistical Optimization of DNA Probes
- DNA Probe Validation across Known Genomes
- Polymerase Performance and DNA Probe Characteristics
The Probe Design Group complements and works closely with Dr Pourmand's technology development team.
